Codurance, the London software consultancy, has reached the Select tier of Anthropic’s Claude Partner Network in its Services Track. The firm announced the move on November 5, 2026, about three months after it was accepted into the network. If you are looking for a firm to take a Claude pilot into production, the tier tells you Codurance has a certified delivery team, has already delivered Claude use cases for clients and can point to public customer references.

What the Select tier recognizes

The Select tier recognizes three things, according to Codurance’s announcement: building a certified delivery team, delivering Claude use cases for clients, and proving that work through public customer references. Put simply, a Select partner has shown Anthropic it has done real client work with Claude, not only explored what the models can do.

When Codurance joined the network on July 30, 2026, it described a structured route to higher partner tiers (Select, Preferred and Global Premier) based on certified specialists, live client deployments and public reference outcomes. Select is the first of those three steps. At the time, Codurance said it was putting its consultants through Anthropic Academy, Anthropic’s training and certification program, and building public customer stories with measurable outcomes. This week’s announcement is the progression it said it would pursue.

Why it matters if you are hiring a Claude partner

It gives you a checkable signal on delivery experience. Plenty of firms now say they work with large language models, and it can be hard to tell a team that has shipped production systems from one that has run a few workshops. Steve Lydford, UK Managing Director at Codurance, said: “This recognition reflects the work our team has put into building a certified delivery capability and helping clients move Claude from early exploration into production.”

A partner tier is still only a starting point, so it is worth checking it yourself. Anthropic lists its services partners in a directory linked from claude.com/partners. When you speak to any firm offering Claude work, ask which tier it holds, which Claude use cases it has delivered for clients and which customer references you can talk to. Those three questions line up with what the Select tier measures, so a firm at that level should be able to answer all of them.

What Codurance already does with AI

Codurance builds new software, modernizes legacy systems and coaches in-house engineering teams, and its AI work sits inside that. Croner built Croner Intelligence with Codurance, a retrieval-based AI assistant on Amazon Bedrock that gives cited answers from Croner’s content library. The firm also sells fixed-scope assessments covering tech and AI due diligence, data and AI readiness, and AI in engineering, and it runs buyer-side technical and AI due diligence for private equity firms.

That mix is useful if your project is as much about the systems around an AI feature as the feature itself. Codurance’s engagements are led by senior engineers it calls Principal Craftspeople, who work inside client teams on delivery, and it lists offices in London, Manchester and Leeds plus Barcelona, Madrid, Lisbon, São Paulo and New York City. You can compare it with other custom software development companies and AI consulting firms on TechBonna.

Version 1, the Dublin-based IT services firm, says on its own site that it is an Anthropic Preferred Services Partner, the tier above Select on the route Codurance described. If you want a firm that builds AI agents on Claude, the AI agent development category is a good place to start, and it is worth checking each firm’s tier against Anthropic’s directory before you shortlist.

What comes next for Codurance

Codurance says it is “building from here” and thanked the clients who have trusted it with their AI work. Its July post said the next steps were more consultants certified through Anthropic Academy, more production use cases and more public customer stories. The next tier on that route is Preferred, and we will update Codurance’s profile if it announces that move.
