How we verify companies

Every listing on TechBonna is checked against the firm’s own website before it is published, and dated so you can see how fresh it is.

What we check before a listing goes live

  • The firm trades under the name shown, has a working website and shows current activity.
  • What it delivers, in its own words, so we can place it in the right service categories.
  • Where it is headquartered, from an address published on its own site, and its other offices where listed.
  • That it is a services firm: software vendors, job boards, course sellers and freelancers without a company are not listed.

Partner status, checked at the vendor

A partner badge on TechBonna means we found the firm in the vendor’s own partner directory, such as the Zapier Solution Partner directory, n8n Expert Partners, the HubSpot Solutions Directory, Salesforce AppExchange consultants, the Shopify Partner Directory, Webflow Certified Partners, Microsoft, AWS or Google Cloud partner finders. We record the tier, link to the entry and date the check. A logo on the firm’s own website is not enough.

Rates, team size and certifications

Hourly rates, minimum project sizes and pricing models appear only when the firm publishes them, or when the firm states them to us after claiming its listing, in which case they are marked as stated by the firm. We never estimate them. ISO 27001, SOC 2 and similar certifications appear when the firm states them and are checked on the certification body’s register where it is public. Company registration is checked on the official registry, such as Companies House in the UK.

Sources and dates

Each listing names the page we read and the date we checked it. We do not copy reviews, ratings or profiles from Clutch, GoodFirms, DesignRush or any other directory. We recheck listings at least every six months, and partner status every quarter, because partner tiers change.

Claims and owner edits

A firm can claim its listing free. We confirm the person works for the firm through its website or published contact details before granting access. Edits from owners are reviewed by an editor before they appear.

When something is wrong

Anyone can ask for a correction or removal through our free corrections form. We check the request against the firm’s website and update the listing and its check date. Corrections and removal never depend on payment.
